We are a collective of citizen livestreamers, mostly based in Scotland, founded with the objective of producing live video at events, which the mainstream media will not cover. We have livestreamed over 1500 events since November 2013 and all for FREE. This is an archive of live videos produced mainly on the livestream.com platform between 2013 and 2021. French trade unionists to demonstrate outside Weir Group PLC global headquarters at 20 Waterloo Street, Glasgow G2 6DB from 1:30pm on Tuesday, 10th March. Weir Minerals France, part of the Weir Group PLC (a global engineering company) has announced that it intends to close a pump manufacturing factory that employs 50 workers in Castres, near Toulouse, in the south of France. The closure is said to be part of an international plan to cut 500 Weir group jobs in Australia, America, South Africa and France. The workers from the Castres Weir factory want Keith Cochrane, the Chief Executive of Weir Group PLC to be made aware of the severe impact this closure would have. Michel Parraud, a fitter and the metal workers' (CGT) trade union leader at the Castres Weir factory will arrive in Glasgow on Tuesday 10th March along with 30 of the workers from the Castres factory. The Castres Weir factory employs 50 workers and according to workers there, has been making a profit. Michel Parraud, union leader at the Weir factory in Castres say, "Our factory has been building industrial slurry pumps for 160 years! We cannot allow Weir to destroy our jobs and our prod industrial history." Michel Parraud went on to say, "Before we are willing to stand in the unemployment lines, we think Keith Cochrane (Weir Group Cheif Executive) deserves to face the consequences of his decisions." The Castres Weir factory workers plan to demonstrate outside Weir Group PLC global headquarters at 20 Waterloo Street, Glasgow G2 6DB from 1:30pm on Tuesday, 10th March. They will be joined by Scottish and British trade union activists. At 2:30pm union members from the Castres factory willgo inside to meet with representatives at Weir Group. The Castres workers would like to invite all media to attend the demonstration from 1:30pm Tuesday, 10th March outside Weir Group PLC global headquarters at 20 Waterloo Street, Glasgow G2 6DB. They are willing to provide interviews before and after the meeting with Weir Group representatives. Hope Over Fear are organizing this 2015 event to coincide with the anniversary of the referendum and to make a clear statement that our journey to full Independence for our nation continues. Our First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon has stated clearly that it will be the people of Scotland who will determine if and when there is an #indyref2. Lets fill Freedom Square and the surrounding streets of Glasgow on September 19th to make our voices heard. 2018 is an ideal year for #indyref2 as it is clear in terms of elections north and south of the border. (2016 Scottish parliament, 2017 Scottish council, 2019 English council and 2020 General election.) Join us on the Square with the message, #Indyref2 2018.

HOPE OVER FEAR: SEIZE THE DAY RALLY George Square, Glasgow. Lots of great speakers including Mark McGowan, The Artist Taxi Driver plus great music...

The Hope Over Fear campaign will not shirk its responsibilities. On May 7th 2015 we have a unique opportunity in Scotland to wipe out the blue, yellow and red Tories in one fell swoop. We can electorally punish those who lined up with the billionaires and millionaires to lie, deceive and bully our nation into submission. We are not too small, too poor or too scared to move forward into a new and better world and by uniting the pro-Scotland and anti-Establishment vote in May 2015 we can realise our dreams. Bring the family and enjoy another great day out while listening to the speakers from all political backgrounds and on the importance of using your vote wisely at the general election. There will also be many amazingly talented artists and musicians for you to enjoy on the day. In the words of Gerry Cinnamon's inspiring anthem of our movement, "Hope Over Fear, Carpe Diem". Let’s seize the day in 2015. NOTE: Mark McGowan, The Artist Taxi Driver will be one of the speakers :) FACEBOOK EVENT: https://www.facebook.com/events/401561463337441/

BBC Bias Peaceful Protest #2 Around 1:30 - 3:30pm BBC Bias Peaceful Protest #2 - The People's Voice!

BBC Bias Peaceful Protest #2 - The People's Voice! Sunday, June 29 at 1:30pm - 3:30pm BBC Scotland Studios, Pacific Quay G51 1 Glasgow, United Kingdom This is a protest against bias from the self-proclaimed “impartial” BBC. The most important issue we need to highlight is the repeated omission of relevant facts, information & answers that has kept Scotland in the dark about the real independence debate. The BBC’s coverage is ruining the run up to the biggest decision in our history. People are suitably sickened by the BBC & other mainstream media and their one sided conveyor belt of scare stories portrayed against our economic prospects, EU membership and the currency of an independent Scotland. Sometimes the bias is not in what they do cover but what they don't cover in their news & current affairs programmes. Specific examples of bias that concerns us are as follows: Make up of Question Time panels. Irish & Luxembourg EU ministers views misrepresented. UKIP promotion during EU elections. University of the West of Scotland report on bias on evening news programmes (BBC & STV) University of the West of Scotland report on bias on Radio Scotland Good Morning Scotland show The BBC's membership of the CBI which opposes independence and even tried to become an official member of the no campaign until a U turn after a mass cancellation of membership by Scottish companies. Different styles of questioning for Yes/No including more frequent interruptions from interviewers. The list goes on… Let's keep up the pressure on the old BBC and arrange their next outing as a massive anti-bias operation! Bring your saltires, banners, balloons, friends, family and loud voices. Make it a day to remember! Everyone is welcome from both sides of the debate. Groups that wish to protest about other instances of BBC bias unrelated to the independence debate are also more than welcome to attend.
