We are a collective of citizen livestreamers, mostly based in Scotland, founded with the objective of producing live video at events, which the mainstream media will not cover. We have livestreamed over 1500 events since November 2013 and all for FREE. This is an archive of live videos produced mainly on the livestream.com platform between 2013 and 2021. Our success and continued growth is down to the dedication of our volunteers and the support of our viewers. We continue to cover political, social and cultural events and news stories in Scotland and further afield.

UPDATED : Climate change: the view from Norway with Professor Tore Furevik. A Nordic Horizons event.

Norway is one of the most environmentally friendly countries in the world. Much of its energy comes from renewable sources, with hydro energy powering many towns and industries. Meanwhile Scotland prides itself on having the most ambitious climate change targets. But are either of these oil-producing North Sea neighbours facing up to the real speed of climate change? Temperatures in the high north are increasing faster than the world average. Permafrost and sea ice are disappearing. Fish stocks are changing. Melting of glaciers and the Greenland ice cap is raising sea levels. Across the world, the impacts of climate change on water and food security, and human health, will be dramatic. But beside these threats, sit commercial opportunities. Less sea ice makes commercial activities more attractive in the high north. This increases stress on an already vulnerable Arctic ecosystem. Is exploitation of oil and gas in harmony with 'green growth' and in line with the Paris agreement? Will deep sea mining become a safe industrial adventure or an environmental catastrophe? Who will benefit from changes in fish stocks? When will the northern transport routes become commercially attractive? Should tourism be limited? 'The sister of a man accused of stabbing Surjit Singh Chhokar in 1998 has told a trial he claimed that he had "got away with the perfect murder Margaret Chisholm told the High Court in Glasgow that her brother Ronnie Coulter made the admission to her after a jury cleared him of the murder. She also said that when he was on remand awaiting trial, Mr Coulter neither admitted or denied the murder. Mr Coulter denies murdering Mr Chhokar and has blamed two other men. The 48-year-old, from Wishaw, denies stabbing the 32-year-old in Garrion Street, Overtown, North Lanarkshire, on 4 November 1998. Gathering at the Mercat Cross, Glasgow. Against the Unionist rule in Scotland. The Mercat Cross stands at the south-eastern corner of Glasgow Cross. Market crosses like this are found all over Scotland to mark the places where markets were legally held and this example represents one removed from Glasgow Cross in 1659. A town`s cross was often its symbolic centre as markets and other communal events took place beside it and the absence of such an important monument must have caused a bit of a dent in civic pride.

We need all that energy, artistic endeavour, hard work and good old political discussion to get started again ( though it has never really gone away) and we need to establish a gathering place for all the groups,individuals, artists and ideas that made the Yes movement so vital in the journey towards self determination and Independence. The Yes Movement Rally on the 18th of September 2016, this is being held at Glasgow Green from 12pm until 8pm. This is going to be a day to remember. Why come? Why Volunteer? I would like to tell thee. Have any of you ever felt like you were here, to do something great with your life? Well you are and this is why we are all here. We are here to change the world. It is no easy task, but to us it is clear that the task is ours. That is why they called us the Bravest in all the stories. We will show the world there is another way to live, that social and cultural change is inevitable and that a new way of doing things is being birthed. A great human being once said 'Be the change you wish to see in the world'. For too long we have been realising that the entire system is corrupt. We have waited for those in power to change things, For someone to stand up and do what's right. None of them have, not really. We are creating this Movement together. As Humanity we can free ourselves from this system that none of us agreed to when we were born here, by taking our power back and in doing that, we show others how to free themselves from the Elitist system. To put it bluntly, the days of working to pay bills and die are over. We want more for ourselves and the generations to come. We stand for Equality, Contributing and Pioneering our own future. There are new way's to do things now and we all know that, we must venture into the unknown and discover 'HOW?' together. Please email theyesrally@gmail.com. BBC Bias Peaceful Protest #2 - The People's Voice! Sunday, June 29 at 1:30pm - 3:30pm BBC Scotland Studios, Pacific Quay G51 1 Glasgow, United Kingdom This is a protest against bias from the self-proclaimed â€œimpartialâ€ BBC. The most important issue we need to highlight is the repeated omission of relevant facts, information & answers that has kept Scotland in the dark about the real independence debate. The BBCâ€™s coverage is ruining the run up to the biggest decision in our history. People are suitably sickened by the BBC & other mainstream media and their one sided conveyor belt of scare stories portrayed against our economic prospects, EU membership and the currency of an independent Scotland. Sometimes the bias is not in what they do cover but what they don't cover in their news & current affairs programmes. Specific examples of bias that concerns us are as follows: Make up of Question Time panels. Irish & Luxembourg EU ministers views misrepresented. UKIP promotion during EU elections. University of the West of Scotland report on bias on evening news programmes (BBC & STV) University of the West of Scotland report on bias on Radio Scotland Good Morning Scotland show The BBC's membership of the CBI which opposes independence and even tried to become an official member of the no campaign until a U turn after a mass cancellation of membership by Scottish companies. Different styles of questioning for Yes/No including more frequent interruptions from interviewers. The list goes onâ€¦ Let's keep up the pressure on the old BBC and arrange their next outing as a massive anti-bias operation! Bring your saltires, banners, balloons, friends, family and loud voices.
